Well, I was going to go over and get on the dyno. The owner, Tony, had a new GTO on the rollers. He was making 590whp, pretty nice! They keep hopping on the rollers though, and he kept trying and trying. The car needed to be readjusted, but after all the trying, redlining the car was getting hot and the transmission finally just started slipping to hell.

Since I have had bad experiences on the dyno already, Al Powers in Orlando at Garage Advance back in the day blew my 2nd gear letting the wheels turn and lock up while the rollers were still moving straining and breaking the transmission. So I'm really cautious of the dyno.. but I do want to dyno!

Anyone else been over to HP? I've only heard good things, and he seems like a really nice guy, but all that doesn't matter when we're talking about my car. Sad

no, these guys are in a wood building that looks like it is going to fall apart in green cove springs. they are mostly camaro/ls1 kinda people but they are super nice and let you run the dyno with your own people., last couple times we payed 50/hour and that is dirt cheap. iwas there for like 5-6 hours and only payed 250 i think. he is very reasonable. we were there all day for scott liike 7am-4pm and he charged him like 300 bucks because we had to run around cause scott forgot some stuff.

Those are good great rates. The two shops I'd go to for dyno runs in Tampa used to charge ~$65 for 3 runs. $120 for the first hr of dyno time and $60 for each additional hour.

...They both closed down though Rolling Eyes
